WARRINGTON student Jenny Mushing has beaten off strong competition to win a top prize.
Jenny, at the University of Salford, recently completed her final year and won The Prize for Excellence in Quantity Surveying, sponsored by specialist recruitment company, Hays Property and Surveying.
The purpose of the award is to promote, recognise and reward excellence in the field of quantity surveying.
Hays senior manager Gary Sheldrake attended a prizegiving ceremony at the university to present a cheque and framed certificate to the proud student.
Pam Lindsay-Dunn, a director at Hays said: “This prize is a small step to reward the next generation for their hard work. Not only is it great to support students to pursue a career in quantity surveying but we would also encourage students to explore the many employment opportunities that exist locally.”
