A collision between a HGV and a car resulted in temporary road closure on Brian Bevan island at 12.20pm today (Monday).
Emergency services attended at the scene and Chester Road and Wilderspool Causeway were closed.
Both vehicles were moved onto Warrington bus depot while the road was re-opened.
Fire crews assisted one person from the car. The woman was uninjured.
