A 53-year-old woman who threw a cigarette butt from a vehicle has been ordered to pay £676 by Warrington Magistrates.
Rebecca Knight, of Cartridge Lane, Grappenhall was summoned to appear before the court after she failed to pay a penalty charge imposed by the borough council.
She had dropped the cigarette butt from a vehicle on Mersey Street, Warrington
The court fined her £146 and ordered to pay £500 costs and a £30 victim surcharge.
