Festive lights to cost £5,000

0

FUNDING of up to £5,000 for Christmas decorations in Stockton Heath village has been approved by the parish council.
The work will include supplying a 30 ft tree and electrical connections to existing trees in Victoria Square.
Members agreed the move to LED lights should be progressed with lights remaining in the trees all year – so reducing annual costs.
Electrical works and light installations will also be progressed at St Thomas’ churchyard, London Road/Orchard Street, Pilling Gardens and Walton Road/Whitefield road.
