A REQUEST from buskers to be allowed to sing in a shopping centre is to be made to the site owners.
Coun Helen Dutton told Stockton Heath Parish Council that she had been approached by people who wanted to perform in the Forge shopping centre.
Clerk Peter Briggs said they would have to get permission from the owners.
Coun Dutton said the girls had been busking in the shopping centre as part of the Stockton Heath Festival. They had a “great time” and would like to continue doing so.
Coun Tudor Pole said the entertainment had added to the atmosphere of the centre.
