WARRINGTON Town rounded off their pre-season campaign with a 2-1 win away at Trafford.
Paul Carden’s men kick off their Evo-Stik Premier League season on Saturday at home to Farsley Celtic, looking to go one better than last season where they finished third before being knocked out in the play-off semi-finals.
Robbie Evans’ first half strike and an own goal from Andy Langford ensured a win at Trafford, who play a level below the Yellows.
Two trialists were used by Carden, who continues to hunt for players to build his new look squad for the season ahead.
