POLICE are still seeking witnesses of the fatal road accident which occurred on the A50 near Warrington on Monday.
They have now named the motor cyclist who died in the single-vehicle crash in Knutsford Road, Grappenhall, near its junction with Cliff Lane.
He was 44-year-old Peter David Barton, from Luton.
His machine apparently careered of the road before crashing.
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash to call 01244 613813 and ask for Sgt Neil Farnworth.
