Trees ablaze at Birchwood

FIRE crews tackled a blaze involving three conifers and fencing at Birchwood, Warrington, this afternoon.
The team from Birchwood tackled the outbreak in Kelsall Close shortly before 4pm using a hose reel jet.
Cause of the fire has not been revealed.
In another incident, a fire crew from Penketh went to a flat in Dingleway, Appleton to reports of a fire.
They discovered the fire was out on arrival and used a ventilation unit to clear smoke from the property.
