Man attacked and robbed of car

AMAN was attacked in his own home at Warrington – and robbed of his car.
The robbery was at a house in Dam Lane, Croft.
Two offenders entered the house from the rear and attacked the 45-year-old occupant.
They demanded his car keys and then drove off in his grey 09-plate VW Scirocco, heading in the direction of the M62.
The pair had arrived in a black Audi car and this left in the same direction.
Later, the Scirocco was involved in a collision with another vehicle near the Winwick interception with the M62 butcontinued on in the direction of Liverpool.
The victim was not seriously injured but was badly shaken.
Police say the two men were wearing dark sports clothing and spoke with local accents.
