Mast plan
MOBILE ‘phone giants Orange are seeking planning consent for a 20 metre high mast and other equipment at Partridge Fishery, in Glaziers Lane, Culcheth near Warrington.

Hospital lottery
ONE lucky winner scooped the £1,080 jackpot prize in the weekly lottery run by the League of Friends of Warrington Hospital. Winning numbers were 1, 4, 9 and 13. A £25 consolation prize was won by a member of the hospital staff.

School fair
A SUMMER fair is being held at St Monica’s Primary School, Appleton, Warrington tomorrow (Saturday). There will be a brass band, Irish dancers, stalls, refreshments and other attractions.

Teddy treat
ST Elphin’s Parish Church, Howley, Warrington is holding a teddy bear’s picnic on Sunday – following immediately after the 10.30am Parish Eucharist. Weather permitting the event will be outside – but if it rains will be in St Elphin’s Community Centre. Children are reminded to take their teddies!

Wind turbine
PLANNING consent is being sought for a wind turbine at St Matthews CE Primary School, Stretton.
