Inspector overrules planners

A GOVERNMENT-appointed inspector has overruled local planners to grant permission for a three-storey office building.
Warrington borough council threw out the scheme which involves demolition of a house in Knutsford Road, Grappenhall on the grounds that it was an inappropriate location.
But the inspector has ruled that the development would not be out of place in a main road location and bus route.
He pointed out that about 25 people would be employed in the terrace of office suites on three floors
Although it was a three storey proposal, the top floor would be within the roof space giving the new building the appearance of two storeys.
