CHESHIRE and Warrington Economic Alliance (CWEA) has succeeded in its bid to achieve Investors in People accreditation.
The organisation is the sub-regional partnership for economic development – and according to delighted chief executive Martin Lee the award is a tribute to the effort and commitment of every member of the CWEA team.
Investors in People is a rigorous standard which looks at all aspects of the business including business planning, leadership, staff development, communication and staff motivation. It stimulates and challenges organisations to make the best of their people and recognise their contribution.
The accreditation process was spearheaded by office manager Roz Atherton.
She said: “It’s been a challenging but rewarding process that has given the team a common focus and an opportunity for genuine employee engagement.”
Investors in People assessor Brian Foy commented: “I’d like to congratulate Martin Lee and the CEW team on their professional and committed approach to the process. They deserve this success.”
