Thousands flock to Food Fest

THE annual “Lymm Food Fest” proved to

be a huge success attracting thousands of visitors to the village for

the start of the 10th annual Lymm Festival.
Rosie Dutton and Sarah Sexton from sexton’s Village bakery are pictured offering a strawberry cream cake to Lymm Town Crier Peter Powell who helped launch the event, which includes daily activities until July 5.
Tomorrow’s activities (Saturday June 27) include an exhibition by the Manchester Bonsai Society and a Calligraphy exhibition.
It will also see the official opening of Art in the Garden at Leckonby Cottage on Whitbarrow Road by Lymm Life and warrington-worldwide Editor Gary Skentelbery.
