Pet awareness day

A PET Awareness Day is to be held at Walton Hall Gardens on Saturday, July 18
There will be a dog show run by the Retired Greyhound Trust, with 11 different classes.
In addition, experts will be on hand to give advice on pet care and the RSPCA and the PDSA will both be exhibiting.
Among organisations exhibiting will be the Wirral Herpetological Group, with reptiles and birds of prey, the British Chelonia Group, with tortoises, Bolton Ferret Welfare and the British Horse Society.
Health checks for dogs, micro-chipping will be available, along with neutering vouchers.
