Village goes to the movies

VILLAGERS went to the movies at the annual Thelwall Rose Queen parade

where local school girl Emily Johnson was crowned Rose Queen.
Emily aged 13, (pictured right) a pupil at Lymm high School was crowned at the annual event where local school children and villagers paraded through the area on floats with a movie theme.
Chaigeley School entered their Mamma Mia float, while Sixth Warrington Thelwall Beaver Scouts entered with their Oliver Float.
Thelwall Infants School entered their Mary Poppins float while the Little Wonders Nursery entered the Lion King float.
The Tugboats Pre-School entered the Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs float while the crowds were entertained by the Batala Percussion Band.
