Early hours raid on pub

THREE hooded men got away with cash and other property from a Warrington pub early today after threatening the landlord and two other people.
No-one was hurt in the raid at the Thorn Inn, at Appleton Thorn but the three victims were left badly shaken.
It was at about 2.30am today when the 52-year-old landlord, his 23-year-old son and a 24-year-old woman were confronted by three men wearing dark clothing.
They were hooded and were armed with a knife and a metal bar.
The offenders threatened the three occupants and escaped with a quantity of cash and personal items.
Police are appealing for witnesses who should call 0845 458 0000. They are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen the offenders leaving the area.
