TEN members of staff at a Warrington pharmacy are to take part in the St Rocco’s Starlight Ladies Walk – dressed as fairies.
The intrepid 10 all work at the Co-op Pharmacy at Culcheth and are in training for the event which takes place on Friday, June 19 at Victoria Park.
Last year the event raised more than £150,000 which went straight into funding a ndw day unit expansion at the Warrington hospice.
The 10 staff members from the Co-op hope to raise £400 towards the £2.1 million running costs of the hospice.
The 10 are Penny Roberts, Helen Shepherd, Cathy Stars, Jane Wenham, Mandy Davies, Lynda Wilson, Jean Orrell, Katie Wemys-Glenister, Amy Appleton and Karen Mooney.
