Garden open for charity

A WARRINGTON couple are opening their garden under the National Gardens Scheme for the 12th year in succession.
John and Gwen Carter, of 68, Cranborne Avenue, off Gainsborough Road, will open their garden on Saturday and Sunday, July 11-12 between 11am and 6pm.
Admission is £2.50 for adults, in aid of charities supported by the National Gardens Scheme. Children are admitted free.
Plants will also be on sale and all the proceeds will go to charity.
Over the last 10 years, the National Gardens Scheme has donated more than £23 million to charity.
