Poppy appeal bikers

ABOUT 20 cyclists took part in the annual cycle ride from Lymm to Tatton Park and back, to raise funds for the Royal British Legion Poppy appeal.
President of the Lymm branch Raymond Massey, who was previously Poppy Organiser, said it is hoped to match last year’s event and raise more than £500.
Chairman of Lymm Parish Council Joe Griffiths started the 18-mile race from Lymm Cross, by waving a flag.
And new Lymm RBL Poppy Organiser Len Woodward staffed a half-way stall at Tatton Park – filled with welcoming drinks and chocolate biscuits for the cyclists.
