A man has been arrested at Orford, Warrington, for alleged assaults on his partner and child.
The incident took place at 13.50 hours today (Monday) when police were called to an address in the Orford area. A male was arrested on an allegation of assaulting his partner and child.
Earlier in the day a woman was arrested at residential premises in the town centre for assault, after allegedly head butting her partner.
Both were kept in custody this afternoon.
