Creative workshops launched

A NEW programme of creative workshops for people with mental health problems is being launched at Warrington.
They will be held at Longford Neighbourhood Centre from Thursday, June 11, organised by the borough council and NHS Warrington.
The innovative programme is aimed at improving the health and well being of local residents with mental health problems and is similar to an existing programme already running at the Pyramid Arts Centre in Palmyra Square.
Workshops will be held employing a combination of painting, drawing, singing, creative writing, dance and drama with great effect.
Current participants are very positive about both the activities and the confidence and friendship they feel from taking part in the programme.
More information about creative remedies are available from Jan on 01925 416872.
