AS the weather, hopefully, gets warmer people in Warrington can enjoy a series of outdoor theatre productions staged at a popular beauty spot.
A series of shows are planned at Walton Gardens. Organisers say previous productions have proved popular and visitors have enjoyed a relaxed and memorable evening.
All productions start at 7pm and finish around 9.30pm. From 6pm and throughout the evening, there is a bar and light refreshments.
The first show, on Thursday June 4, is The Mowgli Stories an adaptation of The Jungle Books by Rudyard Kipling.
On Wednesday June 24 there will be a new take on Shakespeare’s comedy, As You Like It.
Jane Austin’s classic, Emma, will be staged on Wednesday July 8. This new adaptation will be in a fully accessible marquee and signed by BSL interpreters as part of Disability Awareness Week.
A performance of The Three Musketeers by Alexandra Dumas will be staged on Tuesday July 21.
Tickets are £11 for adults, £8 for concessions and family tickets (2 adults and 2 children) are £35. They are available from the Pyramid Box Office on 01925 442345 or in person at the Heritage Centre, Walton Gardens.
