TWO plans to re-develop the site of an old pub as offices or as shops, restaurant and takeaway have been thrown out by Warrington planners.
The schemes both involved the old Railway Inn, in Knutsford Road, Latchford.
The first involved changing the pub to offices, with external alterations, fire escape and roof extension.
A second application involved change the use to shop, restaurant, takeaway and offices. This scheme also involved external alterations, a roof extension and fire escape.
Planning officers refused both scheme, using delegated powers.
