Conrad's new book is explosive

A NEW book has been published by Warrington author Conrad Jones – the fifth in his “Soft Target” series about a fictional anti-terrorist unit.
“Blister” is about an extremist group who plan to attack the 2012 Olympics using chemical weapons recovered from a wartime munitions dump deep below the Irish Sea.
A small counter-terrorist group has to stop the attack without bringing the plot into the public eye.
The plot is based on true, wartime incidents which Conrad has researched.
Conrad’s interest in terrorism stems from when, as the manager of a Bridge Street restaurant, he was an eye-witness of the 1993 IRA bombing atrocity in Warrington.
Later he became a self-employed carpet cleaner but decided to turn to his first love – writing – after his equipment was stolen.
The subject of his new novel is controversial because few people know about the tons of chemical weapons dumped near our shores around 1945.
