Company chief joins lobbying group

A WARRINGTON company boss has been elected to the board of the trade organisation and lobbying group, The Business Association.
Sallie Maskrey (pictured) is managing director of Warrington-based Portal Business Centre.
She said: “I originally joined the BCA as it was the only organisation representing this fast-growing sector and that remains the case.”
Sallie’s role is the growth of business centres across the regions, outside of London. She will focus on improving communications and networking to ensure continued success of BCA centres as well as assisting new centres as they establish themselves in regional markets.
Tasked with supporting the burgeoning flexible space market, the 12-strong board will seek to influence Government decisions on issues affecting small to medium sized enterprises as well as large organisations in a bid to see continued growth of the sector.
