Vintage loco
A VINTAGE diesel locomotive will be calling at Warrington Bank Quay Station on Saturday, June 13. The locomotive 40145 is operated by the Class 40 Preservation Society and will be travelling on to Shrewsbury. Hospital lottery
WINNING numbers in the weekly lottery run by the League of Friends of Warrington Hospital were 7, 11, 15 and 16. The jackpot went unclaimed and will be rolled over to next week. A £25 consolation prize was won by a member of hospital staff.

Charity quiz
A CHARITY quiz night is being held at St Oswald’s Club, Padgate Lane, Warrington tonight (Friday) in aid of the Mutiple Sclerosis Society.
The doors will be open at 7.30pm for an 8pm start and tickets are £2.

Summer fair
A SUMMER fair is to be held at Gorse Covert Primary School, Warrington on Sunday, July 12. There will be a
variety of stalls, fairground rides, etc and activities for all the family.

Floodlight plan
LYMM Lawn Tennis Club is to seek planning consent for more floodlit courts off Brookfield Road, Lymm.
