THE 13th annual Grappenhall Beer Festival was described as “the best ever” with a good turnout at each session.
More than 300 people attended each of the Friday and Saturday night sessions at Grappenhall Community Centre and 80 visited for the Saturday lunchtime.
During the evenings there was music and dancing to The Mandrills and Fatmans Corner.
Beer lovers could enjoy more than 30 ales and there were also nine ciders on offer. Money raised by the event will go towards centre projects.
Centre manager Bill Hinchcliffe said: “It was probably the best ever festival.
“We were really pleased with the turnout and there was a great atmosphere.”
