Millions of pounds go unclaimed!

EMPLOYERS and members of the public are still not claiming the many millions of pounds that the Government has made available in the area of employability and training.
For employers, the Government has recently added a further incentive of £2,500 to encourage them to recruit staff from benefits. There are already many schemes that offer practical and/or financial assistance to local commerce, to assist them to become more sustainable during these difficult times and to lead to more recruitment of local people.
Warrington based Intraining are offering a free training session to local employers at each of their offices throughout Cheshire, designed to bring this information to local business leaders.
The sessions will provide valuable information from a variety of agencies that can offer support providing it leads to further job creation now, or at some time in the future.
They are to be held during the month of June in Macclesfield, Crewe, Warrington and Chester and will also give delegates an opportunity to do some free B2B networking.
The sessions are ideal for business directors or those responsible for recruitment. To register your interest telephone Tony Murray on 07794 215360 or send your details to [email protected]
Those local people in receipt of health related benefits are also eligible to practical and/or financial assistance to assist them back in to employment or self employment.
“There is always a worry when returning to employment, or setting up a small business, that you no longer have the safety net of benefits and will now be responsible to pay rents, rates etc etc, in fact there is a lot of help to assist with this transission and Intraining are holding ‘free to attend sessions’ in all their offices throughout Cheshire to bring this information to claimants,” said Tony.
If you are an employer, or someone on benefits looking to obtain the information on what is available then please contact Tony on the number published above.
