Man arrested for alleged £1,500 theft after giving himself up

A MAN was arrested on suspicion of stealing medication worth £1,500 after giving himself up at Warrington Police Station.
The man, who police wanted to question about an allegation that that he had stolen from his employer, presented himself at the police station.
In another incident, a juvenile female visitor at Risley Prison was arrested after it was alleged she had assaulted a woman prison officer by throwing a chair and table at her. She was later charged with assault and will appear before Warrington Youth Court later this month.
