FIRE crews from Warrington and Lymm were called to the M56 near Lymm this morning following a crash involving one vehicle.
One person was trapped in the vehicle, which was on the eastbound carriageway near to Junction 10 and crews used electronic cutting equipment to release the casualty.
The injured person was then taken to hospital by ambulance.
The incident was at 8.30am.
