PICTURES: DRIVERS are being urged to avoid a road where deep flooding has already resulted in one car being stranded.
Warrington Lane at Lymm is a well known blackspot for flooding at times of heavy rain.
The road remains closed and Police have said it will remain closed until further notice.
Access is still available to local businesses including the Barn Owl pub.

It’s Warrington Lane – not Warrington Road!
Many thanks for pointing this out – it was published in good faith from a police source.
Not as bad as the floods in Lymm 2 years ago though on the EXACT same date of 30th Dec (2015) when the banks of the Manchester Ship Canal flooded over. I often still wonder where all the big carp from the fishery in Lymm swam off too and if they thought all their dreams of escaping the anglers hooks had finally come true as they headed off towards freedom across the flooded nearby golf course .
