A BODY was recovered from the Sankey Canal at Warrington early today.
But police say it is not believed the man died in suspicious circumstances.
It is understood the body was seen floating in the water by a passerby in Liverpool Road, Sankey Bridges.
The identity of the man has not yet been revealed.
