WARRINGTON Town FC travel to Harrogate

on Saturday, kick off 3pm safe in the knowledge that they can not be

relegated following favorable midweek results.
With title chasing Skelmersdale defeating Salford and Rossendale losing at Newcastle it meant Warrington could not be relegated without even kicking a ball.
The midweek results gave a huge sigh of relief for everyone involved at Warrington Town, who didn’t want to see two years of hard work off the pitch, securing the club’s financial future, end up with relegation from the Unibond League.
Following Saturday’s game at Harrogate the curtain will come down on a season of mixed fortunes with the annual Player Awards night which takes place in a gaint marquee on the pitch on Friday May 8.
Guest of honour will be Liverpool legend Ian St John.

  1. Lets hope Town can finish on a high and that the players show their appreciation to their long suffering supporters – little disappointing they trooped off at the last home game without so much as a wave to the fans!
