SERVING members of the armed forces can now boost their fitness levels free in Warrington.
Select Leisure, which runs sports and leisure centres throughout the town, is waiving charges as part of the Help for Heroes campaign.
Armed forces personnel can have free use of its fitness suites, aerobics studios and swimming pools.
Fordton Leisure Centre will host the scheme launch on Wednesday April 22 with a body combat class. Guest will be Sergeant Andrea Pearson, who is running the London Marathon for the Help for Heroes charity.
Anyone interested in joining in should book a place for the classes at 7pm or 8pm.
Select Leisure’s fitness suites will also now be open to 14-16 year olds before 5pm on weekdays and all weekend. Young people under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or carer and will need an induction session.
