WARRINGTON Market will kick off a summer season of events and activity with the town centre’s first Fair Trade Market.
In celebration of World Fair Trade day, the Market will be playing host to a Fair Trade Market on Saturday May 9.
Organised by volunteers from the Fair 4 All stall in the Market, the event will feature a wide selection of Fair Trade goods such as glass, clothes, bags, jewellery, cards and handicrafts from Rwanda, Uganda, Niger, Egypt, Gaza, Hebron, Nepal, India and the Philippines.
There will also be free musical entertainment, tasting sessions of Fair Trade foods and children’s activities.
