Zoo tour
RANGERS at Walton Park Children’s Zoo are organising a guided tour on Wednesday, April 15 when children can learn all about the animals. Places are limited and should be booked by calling 01925 601617 and pressing option two.

Hospital lottery
WINNING numbers in the weekly lottery run by the League of Friends of Warrington Hospital were 6, 7, 14 and 15 – but no-one hit the jackpot. The prize money will now be rolled-over to next week. A £25 consolation prize was won by a hospital visitor.

Housing info
GOLDEN Gates Housing are holding an information day at Westy Community Centre on Wednesday, April 15, starting at 11am. Tenants can get advice on a range of matters, there will be free refreshments and a prize draw and activities to keep youngsters occupied while parents are busy.

Big band
THE New Lights Big Band will be playing music from the 1940s at Penketh Conservative Club, Meeting Lane on Saturday, April 25.
