Attack victim's six days in hospital

A 16-year-old boy spent six days in hospital after being seriously injured in a vicious attack near Warrington.
The youngster was punched in the face by a thug for no apparent reason as he walked along Warrington Road, Penketh.
His jaw was broken in two places and he had to go to Fazackerly Hospital, Liverpool to undergo an operation.
Police are seeking witnesses of the attack, near the Tesco Extra store, on March 20.
They say the boy was walking along the footpath when he was approached by three youths dressed in black.
One punched him in the face, leaving him with the horrific injuries.
