A car fire on the M62 near Birchwood, Warrington, caused traffic delays this afternoon.
One lane was closed on the eastbound carriageway between junction 11 at Birchwood and junction 12 at the Eccles Interchange at around 2.10pm
The vehicle was moved on to the hard shoulder while emergency services attended at the scene.
All three lanes are now re-opened.
