Council praise for PCSO

A POLICE Community Support Officer has been praised for doing “a superb job” over the last four years..
PCSO Paul Birch (pictured) told Appleton Parish Council that he was leaving the area and would be working in Orford.
He said: “It has been great working here for the past four years – thank you for your support.”
Chairman Coun John Price said: “On behalf of the parish council I would like to thank you for your hard work. You have been on the ground since we started, and we couldn’t have had anyone better.”
Later in the meeting members agreed to write a letter of appreciation to the PCSO.
Coun Price said: “Since he has been here he has been very enthusiastic. He has done a superb job.”
