POLICE at Warrington are searching for three men who forced their way into a house and stole jewellery after threatening the occupier with a knife.
The raid was on a house in Lakeside Road, Lymm.
It left the 63-year-old man who was in the house at the time badly shaken, although unhurt.
The three offenders, all wearing dark clothing, kicked in the back door to gain entry to the house at about 9pm on Saturday (March 7).
They threatened the occupier with a knife and forced him to hand over jewellery.
Police believe they made off in a dark coloured car – possibly an Audi A3.
They are appealing for witnesses who may have seen the car being driven suspiciously or erractically in the Lymm area.
Anyone who can help should call DC Adam Bolger on 01244 613831 or call the anonymous Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111.
