A WARRINGTON law firm has been shortlisted for the Best Conveyancer award in the prestigious Mortgage Strategy Awards – recognised as the mortgage industry’s Oscars.
Forshaws Davies Ridgway is the first full service legal practice ever shortlisted for the award.
Tim Jordan, conveyancing partner at FDR, said it was a huge honour to be nominated for Best Conveyancer.
He said: “In these challenging market conditions it’s great to see our efforts are being rewarded.
“Previously, those short listed have all been either online panel services or large-scale conveyancing ‘factories’ whose primary objective is to process as many conveyancing transactions as possible. It is great to see that the mortgage industry, in these difficult economic times, is going back to basics and rewarding those things that are really important to clients – the quality of service and legal expertise.”
The 7th annual Mortgage Strategy Awards ceremony will be held at Grosvenor House Hotel, London on February 25. Categories also include Best Mortgage Lender, Best Mortgage Broker and Mortgage Personality of the Year.
