General Election candidates revealed

WITH nominations now closed for the forthcoming General Election on June 8, five candidates will contest the Warrington North seat and four in Warrington South.

The Five candidates who will contest Warrington North are:

Val Allen (Con)

James Ashington (UKIP)

Helen Jones (Lab)

Stefan Krizanac (Lib Dem)

Lyndsay McAteer (Green)

The four candidates who will be contesting the Warrington South seat are:

Bob Barr (Lib Dem),

John Boulton (Ind)

David Mowat (Con)

Faisal Rashid (Lab).

  1. Four candidates for South Warrington and not one of them appears to be in the least bit interested in trying to prevent the mass developments on the green fields of Appleton & Grappenhall.
    Contrast this apathy with the effort Helen Jones puts in North of the town fighting for Peel Hall.
