Survive and thrive tips for business

0

A SERIES of “Survive and Thrive” events has been launched to support businesses through the current, difficult economic climate and position them more competitively to seize new opportunities.
The Warrington-based North West Development Agency (NWDA) has organised the initiative, which will be delivered by the Manufacturing Institute and Business Link right across the region.
The Manufacturing Institute will deliver the first of the free events throughout March, focusing on manufacturing. In April, Business Link Northwest in partnership with Chambers of Commerce, will widen the content with a series of free events in each of the sub regions.
The events are modular and have been designed to allow delegates the chance to “pick and mix” which sessions they wish to attend.
Mark Hughes, executive director for economic development at the NWDA said:
“These are tough and unpredictable times that call for new ways of thinking, planning and doing business. Survive and Thrive will provide advice and guidance to help companies face their most critical challenges head-on, and access the business support and opportunities on offer in the region.”
All the events will be free of charge to regional businesses and will tackle major issues of: leadership, strategy and people development; finance and cash flow; sales and marketing, and productivity and innovation.
To book free tickets for the Manufacturers’ Survive and Thrive Series log on to: www.manufacturinginstitute.co.uk/survive or call 0800 458 9585.
More information and registration details for the Business Link North West events will be released shortly.
