Hospital lottery
WINNING numbers in the weekly lottery run by the League of Friends of Warrington Hospital were 3, 13, 14 and 15. The jackpot prize went unclaimed and will be rolled over to next week. A £25 consolation prize was awarded to a hospital visitor.
U-turns ban
TOWN Hall chiefs at Warrington are to make an order banning U-turns on the eastbound carriageway of the access to the Tesco superstore at its junction with the A49 Winwick Road.
Bedroom extension

THE Warrington branch of Land of Leather is to close as part of national cut-back which will see 33 stores closed with the loss of up 95 jobs.
