Charity collector robbed in street

A MAN has been robbed at Warrington – while collecting money for charity.
The robbery took place in Grasmere Avenue, Orford as the 31-year-old victim was collecting door to door.
He was taken to hospital with minor injuries but later discharge.
The offender escaped with what is described by police as “a large amount of cash.”
Police say the victim did not see his attacker, so they are particularly anxious to speak to anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the Grasmere Avenue area on last night (Tuesday) around 7.45pm.
