A NEW appointment by Cheshire and Warrington Economic Alliance (CWEA) will help develop new projects in the town.
Jane Baker has been appointed ERDF (European Regional Development Fund) project development manager and will work on projects for North West Operational Programme 2007 to 2013 which is managed by the North West Development Agency (NWDA).
She previously worked for The Mersey Partnership and has extensive experience of developing and managing projects – including more than 50 for the £100 million Mersey Waterfront Regional Park Programme.
Jane said: “I am looking forward to working with everyone in Cheshire and Warrington and the European Team at the NWDA.
Martin Lee, chief executive CWEA, said: “We are delighted Jane has joined us to take up this exciting new post. This is a great opportunity for Cheshire and Warrington organisations to access ERDF funding and we want to maximise the take-up of funds for the benefit of the sub-region.”
