Search goes on for outstanding youth

THE deadline has been extended for a prestigious Warrington competition to find an “outstanding” young person who deserves recognition.
Nominations can include young people who have achieved success in any field, such as doing well at school, taking part in volunteering work or have notable sporting achievements.
The prize is to attend one of two celebration events in the town at the end of February, where there will be the chance to try street dancing, watch DJs and live bands, and meet guests including Paul Crone from Granada Reports.
The deadline for nominations has been extended until Friday February 6. Forms can be found at www.warrington.gov.uk and completed entries should be sent to Lucy Burrows, 1st Floor New Town House, Buttermarket Street, Warrington, WA1 2NH or
