Driver injured in car crash

A DRIVER was taken to hospital at Warrington after two cars collided during the night.
The collision occurred in Liverpool Road, Great Sankey, outside Sankey Police Station.
Emergency services were called to the scene and fire crews gave the man – who had suffered chest injuries – first aid until ambulances arrived.
The man was taken to Warrington Hospital. He is not thought to have life-threatening injuries.
