POLICE are trying to identify a man found lying unconcious in a field near Warrington.
The man – described as being middle-aged and of heavy build – was found lying in a field near the Fiddler’s Ferry Power Station.
He is now in a critical condition in Warrington Hospital – although police have not indicated the nature of any injuries.
The man was found at 4pm yesterday (Tuesday).
Anyone who has information which might be helpful to police is asked to call them on 0845 458 0000.
