A LOCAL church is serving weekly light lunches to help ease the pressure on people during the “credit crunch.”
Lymm Baptist Church, on Higher Lane, is serving the lunches for older people and young mothers with children every Monday between 12 noon and 1.15pm during school term time.
The meal consists of soup and a roll, a pudding and a cup of tea or coffee and costs £2.50.
